We will be holding an apple pruning workshop in our beautiful orchard.

Price: Free but a suggested donation of £5.00 for the work of the Landshare would be appreciated
What to bring: Gloves and if you have tools then secateurs, loppers and pruning saws. If you don’t have these then we can provide them
Graham Talbot a senior tutor at Berkshire College of Agriculture will be on hand to teach the skilled art of apple tree pruning.

- Introduction to our 400 tree orchard
- The importance of good pruning
- The three ‘Ds’ of pruning
- Use of pruners and saws to prune cleanly
- Tips for success and common problems
