Morris dancers dancing at the apple wassail

We are blessed with a huge 300+ tree orchard.

Every year in January we hold an apple wassail. This is to ward away evil spirits from the trees and bless the harvest to come.

Ellington Morris preside over the dancing and the ceremony. We supply everyone with hot apple cup and cakes.

The Landshare nestles in the rural landscape of Warfield.

There are many delightful walking routes from the site.

We run occasional guided walks of around 2 miles, finishing with a welcome cuppa.

In spring we hold an event to celebrate the start of the growing year.

There are refreshments, crafting activities, walks and more.

Pumpkins and squashes grown at Jealotts Hill Community Landshare

In autumn we hold a harvest event.

Timed to coincide with the apple harvest we often have freshly squeezed apple juice to hand plus an abundance of pumpkins and other produce and preserves to purchase.
